Kenni Ther is a recent graduate of Roosevelt University, where he received his Master’s in Performing Arts Administration and also earned his Bachelor’s in Music Education from Lawrence University. Kenni is a classical percussionist by trade - but has a large passion for Brazilian Samba music and culture.

Kenni first learned of MYAC as a high school student in Lake Zurich as well as through classmates in undergrad. He looks forward to work closely with conductors, coaches and students, helping provide the best experiences possible for everyone involved with MYAC.

Kenni has over six years of professional experience as a band director, personnel manager, and arts administrator for public schools, community ensembles, ad multiple non-profit music organizations. He is excited to serve MYAC as both a Percussion Coach as well as a Program Coordinator.
