Cordelia Momo Fredrickson Performs with Milwaukee Symphony

Cordelia Momo Fredrickson is an eighth grader and a member of MYAC’s Symphony Orchestra. As a winner of the Milwaukee Symphony’s Bach Double Violin Competition she was given the opportunity to perform with the Milwaukee Symphony on April 26. The concert was a part of MSO’s Arts in Community Education (ACE) series. ACE aims to “foster an environment for enhanced student learning through arts integration.” The concert took place at the Bradley Symphony Center for students from local schools.

“It was an exciting experience to have hundreds of kids as an audience,” said Momo. “It was enlightening to know that what we played—our music—would be influencing many kids in Milwaukee.” Momo travels from Madison to rehearse in Chicagoland every week. She is also currently a member of a string quartet at MYAC, Quartet Feroce.
