Winning Chamber Groups Perform March 7 at The Fort

The winning ensembles of the 2020 Midwest National Chamber Music Competition will perform Saturday March 7 at 7 p.m. at the “Music At The Fort” concert series at MYAC Center at 878 Lyster Rd, in Highwood, IL.

The groups Insieme Piano Trio, Purple Hippopotami Flute Quartet, Trio Domino, Quartet Lucciola, and Trio Vento will play their winning selections from the competition.

There is a $5 suggested donation at the door. Wine, beverages, and light refreshments will be served.

Open Division:

*The competition rules state that a group must play for comments if 50% of more members were previous winners.  As 2/3's of Trio Domino won the 2019 Discover Chamber Music Competition, they are unable to be the winner of this year's competition.  However, the judge's appreciated their performance and would like to recognize them as the Honorary Winner.
