Midwest Young Artists (MYA) offers opportunities to partner with a vibrant organization associated with talented youth, music, education, and culture.

Additional Partnership Opportunities
- Young Music Scholars Program provides MYA students the opportunity to mentor a beginning music student from an under-served school in Waukegan, Highwood or North Chicago, and for that student to be able to receive private lessons and participate in MYA’s Reading Orchestra.
- WMYA.fm Podcast offers weekly downloads of performances, master classes, interviews and more!
- On-Line Database for Private Music Teachers and Accompanists is a resource for over 500 private music teachers to market their teaching studios and for a web audience of parents and students looking for music lessons and accompanists.
- Music at the Fort Concert Series features up-and-coming young artists and MYA faculty members at a low cost ($5 tickets).

Current, On-Going Partnerships
AnnualNational Concerto Competition
This has given Walgreens visibility for an event that attracts over 225 competitors from across the nation. In turn, the Walgreens competition has become listed in numerous young musicians bios and resumes. Read the bios of the young artists at the Steans Institute at Ravinia each summer!
National Chamber Music Competition
Flyers, magazine ads, e-blasts and other publicity surrounding this competition puts the Discover name in front of an audience of parents, educators and supporters of the arts who value the opportunities chamber music brings to young musicians.
