Rhona Reagen received a BM summa cum laude and an MS in Administration for the Not for Profit sector from De Paul University in Chicago. She is a former director of the Elmhurst College Suzuki Program and the Elmhurst College Music Therapy Clinic. While at Elmhurst she was also a guest lecturer in the College at large. Rhona is also a former faculty member of National Louis University. Currently she maintains an active private violin/viola studio in Skokie. She has been a faculty member of the MYA chamber music program since 1992. Rhona has been a member of the MYA Board of Directors since its inception and is currently serving on the Executive Board.
Rhona has been fortunate to have had several excellent mentors including Dr. Allan Dennis, Dr. Milton Goldberg, Betty Haag, Dr. Thomas Brown, Thaddeus Kozuch, Terry Spina, Julian Leviton, Rebecca Sandrok, Gwen Furbee Ying, and Milton Preeves. She has been married to her best friend for 33 years and has 2 children who have both participated in MYA.
