Hear MYA’s spectacular Big Bands as they perform works by many legendary artists. The 6:00 PM concert features MYA’s Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Orchestra and Big Band. Directed by saxophonist Nic Meyer and assisted by trumpeter Bruce Daugherty, the MYA Jazz Program includes three big bands, six combos, and classes in jazz theory and history. The jazz program has been featured on CBS 2 and on ABC 7 and is widely praised by jazz masters, aficionados and audiences state-wide.
