Midwest Young Artists celebrates the 13th year of its annual Walgreens National Concerto Competition! Held at the MYA Center at Fort Sheridan, the competition draws over 200 of the most talented young musicians from across the country. Prizes include an opportunity to perform with the MYA Symphony Orchestra and on the prestigious From the Top radio program. Walgreens Corporation annual sponsorship enables MYA to provide students with distinguished judges, a DVD recording of their performance, written performance evaluations, and an inviting and nurturing environment in which to participate. Invite your friends and family to listen to the nation's rising stars. Tickets will be available at the door; $10/adult and $5/student or senior for both December 28 (Junior Division) and December 29 (Senior Division).
